Robert Kranjec of Slovenia wins Friday’s FIS Ski Jumping finals in Planica, Slovenia. Second was Simon Ammann from Switzerland and third was Martin Koch from Austria. There were more than 10, 000 spectators at today’s event.

Slovenia hosts their first ever season of the Women’s Ski Jumping World Cup. I was there.. working for 3 international agencies so I had to do my best to get 3 good shots of every jumper.

Slovenia versus England – Slovenian football fans go crazy watching a game
Slovenia vs England
Hundreds of Slovenian football fans cheering in a support of its national team playing against favorites in group C, England. Fans gathered in the capital city in a specially prepared space at the fair centre in front of a big screen. At the end England played better game and won with the result 1 to 0. Slovenia’s breakthrough to finals relied on the outcome of USA vs Algeria where USA made the final decision with the goal in 91st minute.
Slovenia is leaving the World Cup with 4 points.
